About
Hi, my name is Haneen! I am a graduate of the University of North Texas Health Science Center where I received my Masters in Medical Science. I am a first-generation college student and have made a ton of mistakes while I was working up the educational ladder. One of my greatest mistakes was not reaching out for help when I needed it. I want to make amends by helping those who are going the extra mile to reach out for assistance. I try to offer advice and pull from my own experiences when working with my students. My lesson plans consist of reviewing areas a student may be confused with, acknowledging if there are any gaps in their educational foundation, and finally creating a personalized session complete with step-by-step solutions, open communication, and plenty of extra practice.
I have worked with a variety of different students virtually, from California to New York. With every student, I gave them nothing less than a comfortable work environment free of any judgment. They were able to ask any questions they had about the subject and felt comfortable, being honest about their struggles. One of the skills I have pride in is my patience to clarify any topic as many times or in as many different ways to help my student finally reach that “ah ha!” moment.
I am here to give personalized help to anyone in need of it. I appreciate any resources or suggestions that can help me in my mission to make help more accessible to students in need. I am always available to answer any questions or concerns or to schedule a lesson!
