BS in Education, Buffalo State University. Majors in Art, Science, Special Education. Certification in Special Education and Art for kindergarten through grade 12

Monthly in advance. Minimum one hour/week. Maximum 4 days/week.
How did you get started teaching?
After my education degree in College, I worked in sales, then got special education certification and began to teach fifteen years later. I have been teaching and tutoring for 30 years.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have and am currently teaching students from grades 1-9. Some are gifted students, several are ADHD or in the Spectrum Autistic. Several have had handicapping conditions. One private student was ESL.

Attending my home county 4H fair.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be open to incorporating tutor planned study guides and shared workbooks targeting specific needs. Stay positive and take each session seriously; look forward to having fun learning!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What learning tools do you suggest? Are you open to rescheduling a planned session due to illness or a school activity?
