Hi! English teacher with 6+ years of writing experience and tutoring. Native Spanish speaker who has practice teaching both English and Spanish with both children and adults.

My teaching methods can vary depending on a students need! I typically use notes supported by graphic organizers, guided practice, and independent practice with real time support and help.

A lesson plan would start by reviewing past material to keep building on, notes on new content, we would practice and go over the material together to ensure understanding! I like to use scaffolding questions when a student might seem confused and can include outside resources like video, audio, and other examples to better teach content.

I am experienced in teaching and tutoring people of all ages from teaching, and tutoring school age children to hosting night classes for adults. I currently work with middle school aged children primarily. I specialized in English and Writing, and have experience teaching Spanish as a language.
