About

I have always been an individual who enjoyed seeing THAT look in the face of a student who went from "what in the world...", to, "oh.. oh yes, I get it!!". Best feeling ever.

I try my absolute best to turn the learning experience into one where the learning process isn't tedious or monotonous, but is entertaining and even fun! I am a true believer that when someone is having a good time learning- they absorb far more information, and I'm in that same boat!

In addition, I'm fairly young for a tutor and can relate heavily with those from the younger generations, for culture affects learning just as much as memory.

I have been tutoring (Non-professionally) for a three years, but I recently decided to give it a go on the professional stage due to feedback from friends and family. Regarding my qualification- I am a four year veteran of the United States Marine Corps where my job was logistical operations and international business. After that I held a job as a sales agent for condos and town homes. Finally, I acquired my degree from UNT (University of North Texas) in Supply Chain with a minor in Geography/World history and in Economics.

I needed help learning in a course I wasn’t familiar with, I was given exceptional guidance and taught in a way that catered to my learning style. I never felt like any questions I asked were stupid or not worth answering and that made it super easy to feel comfortable and learn. 10/10 will definitely be back!

Frequently asked questions

1. I get to know who I'm working with. It's very difficult to teach effectively if I don't have a clear understanding of how the indivual learns, and how they DON'T learn.

2. I will almost always start from a base position. What this means is, if you're learning about Egyptian History from me, I will first explain the geography of Egypt and have the student memorize/understand the region physically, so that the HISTORY portion of it comes much more naturally. If you understand that the nile river delta was the cradle of the oldest civilization on earth, it makes it easier to understand a lot of the historical events that take place there.

3. Depending on the topic you're learning, I might recommend a book that you'll read in parts over our sessions

4. Then finally we will get to the nitty gritty. But that being said, I have a VERY relaxed and fun teaching style- no power point learning or huge memorization required.

1. I have a degree from the University of Texas 2017-2020 in Supply Chain and Logistics with minors in World History and Economics

2. I have years of experience overseas in multiple foreign nations learning cultures, history, and lanugages. This was acquired during my time in the Marines.
