What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I am student centered. I ask a student for their goals and become aware of their needs. I am clear with instructions and I move slowly helping students to understand what I am teaching. Also I am engaged in how a student learns. I want to know whether or not he or she is visual, auditory or hands-on.
