Medical Student Tutor
About
Hi! I am a dependable, trustworthy, and creative 4th year medical student! I will graduate from Baylor College of Medicine in June and start my residency in Orthopedic Surgery. I have both informal and formal tutoring experience over the past 6 years in college and medical school. Previously, I have taught middle school math, science, and history; all levels of high school biology and chemistry; AP biology and AP U. S. History; and medical school anatomy and physiology.
I love working with all different styles of learners and tailoring my lessons and teaching styles to be the most effective for each individual. My passion is teaching others and helping them reach their full potential!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I always perform a "needs assessment". This includes getting to know one another and starting to determining learning styles, deficiencies, and areas of strenght. From there we can develop a plan together for optimal results.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am 3 months out from graduating with my Doctorate of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine. I graudated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts in Medicine, Health & Society. I have had formal tutor experience for over 6 years in both undergrad and medical school.
