About
My name is Kelsey Mussio and I am an experienced online and in-person tutor. I recently graduated as a pre-medical student from the University of Houston. I was on a full ride at Houston as a Tier One Scholar, the most prestigious scholarship at the school. I was also a member of the Honors College, and up until this past season was a student athlete on the track and field team. I come from a family of teaching experience, with both of my parents and my grandfather being educators, and I share a similar passion for teaching and learning. I am a patient & caring tutor who caters to the individual learning styles of my students. I absolutely love helping my students grow. I hope I can share my passion with students during this critical time when they are not able to physically be in an in-person learning setting. I am currently applying to medical school and working in the medical field.
I offer tutoring in many levels of math, reading, writing, and science. I also tutor standardized testing of all kinds. I got a 34 on my ACT, as well as 4's and 5's on all of my AP tests in high school, and have knowledge I would love to share with students. I am currently studying for the MCAT for entry into medical school, which has allowed me to learn even more test taking skills.
