I will find out where your child is and develop a plan to get them to where they need to be.

I am a certified teacher. My certification includes Pre-K-Eighth grade. My major in college was Elementary Education and I have a minor in reading.

I always wanted to teach. After graduating from college with an education degree, I started teaching and have taught for the last 33 years.

I enjoy working with struggling learners, on level learners, students with an IEP, and gifted and talented students.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I think is important to find a tutor you feel comfortable talking with, so you can share your successes and challenges.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I think communicating with any teacher who works with your child is important.
