Emily's Chinese Tutoring
About
I recently graduated from the M. Ed in Counseling program at the University of Houston, with a 3.95 GPA. I majored in Psychology and Sociology, and minored in Women's and Gender Studies in undergraduate, graduated with a 3.80 GPA. My goal is to become a Licensed Professional Counselor because I enjoy working one-on-one with students and clients. I believe that my counseling skills will benefit me as a tutor. Furthermore, I also speak and write fluent English, Mandarin, and Malay.
I emphasize on exploring creative and different ways of learning that best fit individual learner. You get to tell me how you learn best then I will try my best to incorporate that into our tutoring sessions. The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is to see students make baby steps towards their goal and be proud of their accomplishment!
Tutoring can be fun and effective at the same time!
