Rachel Bitgood

My name is Rachel Bitgood. I am an English teacher with degrees in both dance and English, and I have extensive experience in tutoring middle school through graduate level education. I have a deep passion for literature, poetry, and writing, and it is a joy to develop these skills with my students! My approach to tutoring is individualized to my students; everyone learns differently, and I tailor my teaching style to meet students' needs and learning preferences. As for editing papers, I leave comments and suggestions on electronic copies and walk through these suggestions step by step with my students. I review content, organization, grammar, style, and formatting - student papers will be polished and they will feel more confident after walking through the process together!
