I am a Texas certified teacher who currently teaches math at GPISD and have been teaching in the classroom for over 6 years. Overall I have 11 years of expereince tutoring students of all ages for SAT, ACT, STAAR, TAKS, and algebra, geomety, and elementary financial literacy.
I love seeing students grow while having fun and working hard all at the same time. I have the ability to connect with all types of personality and it is also my biggest strength to be able to educate students from all walks of life. It has always been my passion to help others amplify their knowledge because I believe that knowledge is the ONE thing that nobody is able to take away from you.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first take a little time to understand the students and find what peaks their interests. I truely believe that a person does not care what you know until they know that you genuinely care for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Texas certified teacher in all subjects. I have been teaching math in the classrooom for over 6 years. I also have a Masters in Psychology which helps me better understand student's strength and weaknesses.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The price really depends on if I need to travel to meet the students and the rigor of the sessions.
How did you get started teaching?
I was a GT students in high school and have always been a peer tutor all the way through college. I just fell in love with teaching and cannot find any other career more rewarding than developing minds.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with elementary students on a daily basis bt have tutor high school students for the SAT and ACT.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The first time special education students recieved a master score on the STAAR. That was the proudest moment in my career. To be frank, I'm fond of my every day events when seeing students struggle and eventually picking up a new skill.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher who you can connect with and that works along side you instead of just telling you what to do.
