Linh's Tutoring
About
As a medical student, I am always involved in learning and updating my scientific knowledge so that I can apply it in my future clinical settings. Because of the fact that I am also learning as well, I am happy to provide and guide my students in different ways to learn so they can learn to be a life-long learner and achieve their best in whatever they do!
I have been a tutor for many years and I enjoy mentoring students from all background to realize their highest potential. I believe that tutoring is more than just achieving high grades, it's helping students understand where their strengths and weaknesses are so they can explore their goals and work to actively achieve them

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I ask students what their goals are for our tutoring session and what they expect me to do, whether it is providing them the tools to succeed or helping them figure out a certain problem. I believe that the best tutor-student relationiship is through building trust and communication!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and currently am a medical student at UTMB School of Medicine
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
This depends on student's goals and style. My typical pricing hour will be $20+/hour but I can accomodate and negotiate based on students' learning goals and outcomes
How did you get started teaching?
I have always been a tutor and mentor in middle school! I helped peers out in a Peers Tutoring Program and ever since I have been a tutor at UT Learning Center and in my medical school
