My name is Angela and I am an experience certified Dual Language Teacher EC-4 and LOTE certified from 6th to 12th grade. I have a bachelor degree from BYU in Spanish and I have 12 years of experience teaching Spanish in the public schools. I support the importance of learning a second language and be biliteral.
I enjoy working with kids and share my love for teaching another language.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Once a student contacts me, we can discuss how many openings I have and we can work it out together depending on my schedule.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachekor degree in Spanish and I am certified to teach elementary, middle and high school. I have 12 years of teaching experience.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
For regular tutoring I charge $40/hour. if you are interested in regular fun language classes for children I charge $25 per class with a commitment of once a week. Payments are done in advance through Paypal.
How did you get started teaching?
After I graduated I got my first job as a bilingual first grade teacher in Waukegan ISD in Illinois.
What types of students have you worked with?
I worked from prek to 4th grade, and I have experience tutoring middle school and high school students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they have enough experience teaching and that they are truly bilingual.
