I tutor from my heart - means love to teach the students by understanding their facial expressions, what they lack where they want to improve asking them more questions and answering them appropriately until they are clear in the subject.
I teach at Community colleges, since the students are mostly 18 and up, most of them know their career path, education is not one sided more of interactive with learn/learn situation. All admire and all learn from all situations.
I always liked Biology and related to Biology, had passion about how our organs are made and what color they are and why they are in such odd shapes.
I have been teaching 20+ years but science is always new to me, always more to learn and like to share it with others.

I would acquaint with the student to know his/her interest level, goal and future plans.
Teach them in a friendly way, guide their interest more positively.
Provoke their curiosity with little sense of humor.
