What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My usual process is to first help the student to catch-up if they are behind. Then, focus on the skills and concepts they are learning in class. Help the student manage their homework and class work tasks, and prepare for exams.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a high school mathematics teacher for the last 22 years. I am also an adjunct professor for the community college.
