About
I love to work with students instead of giving them solutions. Working with students allows me to understand their thinking processes, which are very helpful for me to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses. Having all the information I need, I would use simple analogies to tackle complicated problems with them. After finding the correct solutions, I will require my students to present their solution at least 3 times to me and if possible, they will need to present to their parents. If parents have any feedback on my teaching methods, I am always grateful to listen and make changes according to their needs.
Teaching is learning, learning is developing myself. I love improving myself daily; therefore I love teaching and sharing my knowledge with others. Helping others is a great fulfillment especially seeing my students making huge progress and getting more confidence in solving problems and presenting their ideas to their peers.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Students want to be friends with me. Some of them are shy at the beginning, but once I work with them to tackle one problem, they will consider me as a friend and will be more confident in speaking up and telling me their struggles.
The most efficient way of learning I developed during college is to share my knowledge with my peers. I would like to work with my new students and understand their thinking processes, and encourage them to share me their knowledge. I can use the information I got to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses. After the evaluation, I would find similar problems and work with my students to tackle them one by one. With such practice, students can gain more confidence and eventually develop their own ways to solve a problem.
