I am a biochemistry major at UNT. I love chemistry and biology and I really love helping other students learn these difficult subjects.

I can also play and give ukulele lessons if you are interested in that.

    Callie tutored me in the spring of 2020 with my university chemistry 1 class. We met every day for one week leading up to my tests, and she helped me tremendously! Even though we attend different colleges, callie knew all the information that was presented on my practice exams. She explained everything at my rate of learning and made sure i practiced every problem on my own before i was done with that session. Callie helped me pass my class and has continued to offer me educational help in every aspect of my university career!

    She would back track and explain things in an entirely new way if you didn’t get it the first time, and she would keep doing that until you got what we were discussing.     I am currently a junior at the University of North Texas, getting my Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry. 

    My standard price is $20 an hour. I am generally free in the evenings and on weekends (except Saturday mornings). 

    I started turoring my friend in General Chemistry I after quarantine started and I really enjoyed it. 

    I feel I would work best with high school students who are learning basic biology, chemistry, physics, or algebra and precalculas classes. I also would feel comfortable with middle school science and math subjects, along with intro level college chemistry courses. 

    A recent event I was fond of was a student I was tutoring informed me that because of my tutoring she was able to pass her college chemistry class. I felt very proud of myself and of her.
