I am a retired Bi-Ligual Elementary Teacher with a 2nd-grade level American Sign Language knowledge. I taught ESL in Mexico, and in the States 1st through 5th grade.

My passion is to see my students start with very little knowledge or to see them shy and withdrawn only to trigger my inner love of teaching and instill in each and every student their self-worth, their awesome potential, using each other to acquire the gifts each of their peers have to find out only that we complement each other, that we complete each other.

I received several certificates of appreciation as I volunteered where I was needed. The 5 De Mayo celebration for 2 years and I signed up for the Booster Football program for 2 years. The most satisfactory to me was to implement 2 Special Needs Programs in White Mountain Middle School in Ruidoso New Mexico.

My best qualifications are the beliefs I have that ALL HUMAN BEINGS are capable of success at every level if they are given the opportunities, the push, and the love... I saw it throughout my teaching career and with my 3 wonderful successful children.

My preference is with Special Needs children, and with children 1st and 2nd grades, all subjects. Especially where they are most deficient I teach with fun, at times with music, movements...and dancing.

Just to see the faces of my students light up when "They got it!" To see the effort and the want they develop when hard work pays off at the end of the school year. This is worth more than money...if you have the vocation!

I WELCOME ADULTS into my education plans. ESL is my strength, as I am a Latino teacher, who took Elementary Grades in El Paso TX, taught English in Mexico City, taught in El Paso Schools, and in New Mexico.
