I have been teaching for 10 years. ELA certified 4-12, ESL, Reading Specialist, and Special Ed K-12. I use tailored strategies and processes based on my students needs. I will assess their reading/learning styles to develop a teaching plan. I am also Special Education certified, which allows me to accommodate students based on their IEP. I will adapt instruction to the abilities of my students. I can also help your high school student enhance state testing skills and abilities. Teaching them reading strategies and writing formats that are guaranteed to score at least a 3-4.

I am ESL, Special education k-12, reading specialist, and ELA 4-12. I have taught middle/high school English.
How did you get started teaching?
I was in the hotel industry, but once I had kids of my own I needed a better schedule. I've always wanted to teach, and seeing success in my students eyes, have been a strong motivator for me to continue do just that!
