I've been an English teacher for four years. I have a dual Masters in Secondary English (4th-8th Grade) and Special Education from Johns Hopkins University. I received an undergraduate degree in Social Work from New York University.
I taught Fifth Grade for three years in Dallas Independent School District (DISD) and I'm beginning my second year teaching Sixth Grade in Garland Independent School District (GISD).

Ms. Cynthia is amazing ! My daughter looks forward to Ms. Cynthia tutoring lessons every time. Ms. Cynthia breaks things down to allow my daughter to understands it easier. Ms. Cynthia looks for area of improvement and she digs deep into it to better assist my daughter needs. My daughter’s homeroom teacher has noticed that my daughter is now more confidence. My daughter enjoys her tutoring session with Ms. Cynthia and she gets sad if we have to a miss lesson. I highly recommend Ms. Cynthia!!!
