Luke Spencer Tutoring

Hello! My name is Luke, I am 24 and I am an English teacher. Since I was a child, I have had a passion for languages, growing up speaking English and Spanish due to my bilingual background. (My mom is Spanish).

I started teaching when I was 16 years old, creating my own private, one to one English lessons in Spain. Since then, I have taught English in a variety of different settings; private tutoring, online and in a classroom.

Recently, I graduated from university with a degree in Law with Spanish Law and last year, I taught English in Mexico, at Mexico’s top university in UNAM. I have acquired many skills teaching over the years and adapt my lessons to suit the needs of each student. I would like to dedicate these next years to teaching as I have found it to be incredibly rewarding and uplifting.

I am outgoing, open and friendly and am passionate about encouraging my students to take part in English speaking. My lessons are fun, engaging and educational. I draw from a diverse range of resources (such aa textbooks) and sources as well as my own unique teaching techniques.

My lessons are flexible and my main objective is to get my students to participate and improve their English level as much as possible. We can cover more theoretical topics such as grammar structures or verb conjugation or simply have a conversation about daily life; whatever the student is most comfortable doing.
