Youth Development is my area of expertise as I’ve been in this field for over 4 years. I provide educational support to youth ages 6-12 in the subjects of English/Language Arts, Science, Math, & History.
I have the opportunity to positively impact youth in a way that prepares them to be confident in their abilities to perform in any task they set their minds to achieve.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Initially, I would schedule a free parent-student consultation to get further details on what assistance the student needs to be able to put together an adequate tutoring plan to ensure that they are receiving the help they need.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My Bachelor's degree is in Social Work, and my professional background is in afterschool programming. I've worked with youth between the ages of 6-18 on homework help & tutoring in all subjects since 2013.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The first meeting with the student and parent will be free. Tutoring sessions are $10/hour, with up to 4 hours available for tutoring per weekend. (2 hours per session)
How did you get started teaching?
I began in the afterschool field in 2013 as a Social Work intern. From there I worked with Boys & Girls Clubs for 3.5 years and later began working an afterschool program quality consultant for Dallas Afterschool.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students require extreme support in education to the most exceptional students that just want to get further ahead.
