About

In 1994, I completed a 600-hour Massage Therapy Program at The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy (CCMT).

Having felt all that comes along with pain and injury myself, it didn't take long for my initial interest in working with the muscular system to become my passion.

From 2003 - 2009, I worked as an applied biomechanics consultant at ESPN.

After a few years of serving as a consultant, my primary role evolved into working with sports- and work-related injuries at ESPN.

Over the last few years, I have been quoted in Runner's World UK, Massage Therapy and Bodywork, Massage Magazine, IDEA Fitness Journal, Massage and Fitness Magazine, and The Guardian Liberty Voice.

In 2018, VoyageDallas Magazine interviewed me about all things Engaging Muscles.

I have also served as an applied biomechanics consultant at Canyon Ranch and The Greenbrier

For over 24 years, I've held a license to perform sports massage therapy and deep tissue massage.

Throughout the first 18 years of my career, I was a nationally certified personal trainer. During that time, I completed thousands of one-on-one personal training sessions. I went on to teach the biomechanics of exercise to personal trainers, group exercise instructors, and physical therapists throughout New England.

In 2009, my wife and I moved to Dallas, Texas.

Not long after we arrived in the state we now call home, I found meaningful work at Luke's Locker. A Texas-based and family-owned specialty running shoe store.

After two years of working at Luke's Locker, I learned the art of fitting running shoes. I also came to understand the impact that running shoes can have on the human body.

From 2009 - 2018, I had the enormous pleasure of teaching applied anatomy and kinesiology at Parker University in Dallas.

Prior to relocating to Dallas, I taught the study of human movement and advanced kinesiology of the lower extremity in the New York program at The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy.

I'm a member in good standing with the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) and the ABMP (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals).

The IDEA - Health & Fitness Association is also an organization that I've been a member of for many years.
