I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry. I have tutored students since Middle school and my strongest areas to teach is ACT/SAT math, Chemistry, Pre-Calculus, Geometry, Algebra, AP chemistry and SAT subject test in chemistry and math level 2. I mainly teach valuable test taking strategies such as problem solving skills, time management, and review system where many students of have seen improvement in their score 150 and more. I have many students who came to me for help because they were either struggling in their class or their standardized test score was not improving. Through tutoring with me, I received many positive results of students jumping from a failing grade to B and SAT/ACT math score improving by 200+. Whenver students' performance reflect their hard work shown through tutor session with me gives me greatest enjoyment.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Students can provide appropriate materials (HW, reviews, lectures, quizzes) for us to review for concept understanding, solving questions, or review materials. For ACT/SAT math prep, I will provide practice exams for students to solve and we will review each questions thoroughly to maximize learning and reviewing.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard pricing for online tutoring is $30/hr.
