About
With over 34 years as a Certified Reading Specialist, I bring a wealth of experience, proven strategies, and a deep passion for helping children succeed. If your child is struggling with reading, comprehension, or writing, you’ve come to the right place. I have a 100% success rate—every student I’ve worked with has learned to read and understand what they read.
I specialize in creating a supportive, encouraging environment where children not only grow academically but also build strong self-esteem. Confidence is key to learning, and I make sure every child feels capable, valued, and motivated. Many of my students fall in love with reading and writing because of how we approach it together—with purpose, creativity, and joy.
In addition to literacy, I offer math tutoring for grades K–3, using hands-on materials to make concepts engaging and concrete. I do not tutor math beyond 3rd grade, as I focus my energy where I know I can make the greatest impact.
My schedule stays full—usually back-to-back sessions from 4–7 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, if you’re lucky, you might catch an opening!
I’ve been honored as the #1 private tutor in Spring, Tomball, Magnolia, and The Woodlands, and I pour my heart and soul into every student I teach. My students love coming to tutoring, and I love watching their growth and excitement. Seeing their confidence soar and knowing I’ve played a part in their academic journey is the greatest reward.
If you’re ready to help your child catch up, build confidence, and avoid repeating a grade, I’d love to hear from you!
