I am a certified Teacher with the state of Texas. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in the following areas: Elementary Education,Early Childhood, Special Education and English. I have 40 years of experience in teaching.
I have also been Team Leader for 6 years, Mentor for many student teachers. Math and Science curriculum writer. I also have served on many committees.
I love teaching and watching students learn. I love to see the smile on the child's face when they accomplish their goal. It makes them proud of themselves and makes me very happy that I can help a child succeed.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to initially talk to the student and find out the area of concern and also their learning style. This way I can gear my teaching methods to them for success.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS in Elementary Education with an empahasis on Early Childhood. I also have certifications in the following areas: PreKindergarten, Kindergarten,English,Special Education.
