Hello, I'm Tracey and I build confident, enthusiastic readers! I’ve taught emergent readers for 10 years, specializing in comprehension, phonics, and vocabulary to children aged 5-8 using a variety of proven methods. I use games, songs, and role plays to make learning fun! I use structured lessons incorporating explicit instruction and scaffolding activities so that learners can comprehend and utilize challenging concepts easily. We will learn phonics using sound boxes and multisensory response. I believe clear communication and consistent routines build confidence and tailor lessons to each learner’s unique needs. My engaging and supportive approach fosters a love for reading and a respectful and comfortable learning space. I love education and travel so recently went to Europe to teach grades K-9 in Italy. I have a TEFL certification and love to teach language using real life scenarios. My passions are traveling, learning, and dancing.
