John is a VERY good tutor! He actually helps you learn the material by guiding you in the right direction instead of just giving you the answer. If you actually want to learn the material, which is extremely important for exams, then I highly recommend him!

How did you get started teaching?
There was not a graduate program at the small school where I studied, so they used undergraduates as teaching assistants. I agreed to teach astronomy lab, not knowing that there wouldn't be a professor there and that I would have to do the lectures and demonstrations. I was terrified of speaking in front of a group, but after trying it, I loved it!
