About
I am a teacher of 40 years. I have worked in
México,in Germany,and in Dallas.
I went to school in Monterrey,Mex.where I earned my teaching certification in Mexico I won an Exchange Student Scolarship at State Uni of New York at Brockport School for Teachers. I won another scholarship as a Mexican Studet at Pan American College in Edinburg ,Texas, I graduated with a BA from Universidad de las Americas in México City in International Relations and Teaching Reading to Bilingual Students.
My Masters is in Educatinal Administration from Temple University in Filadelphia Pa.and Universidad Menéndez Pelayo in Santander, Spain
After Retirement I have been substituting for Región 1 , South Texas ISD and Los Fresnos
CISD. I have taught all school grades and University level s from Pre K to Séniors at University level i at UD E M in Monterrey Mex. Moving to other countries has made me learn 3 languages, English, Spanish and Germán.
My hometown is Monterrey, Mex and My Alma Mater where I later taught is th American School Foundation of Monterrey , ASFM.
My teacher training was done at “Escuela Normal , “ Miguel F. Martinez” with a certificate as Maestra en Instruccion Primaria.
My most rewarding experience has been teaching reading to bilingual students in two languages at the same time with adequate materials.
