Max At SoFlo SAT Tutors

Hi, I'm Max! Fun fact: I once ran a mile in 4:20 exactly. I love working with students. The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point! On a more personal level, I am an enthusiastic and outdoorsy type of person!

I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in the SAT and ACT through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I scored in the top percentile on both exams, graduated from Willamette University with a degree in Political Science, and have been tutoring with SoFlo for 3 years. We use analysis, strategy, and practice to improve scores. First, a diagnostic test. Then, a strategy to work on the weaknesses on that test. Finally, practice makes perfect!
