Hello! I am a Physics Major at the University of Texas at Austin. As such, much of the material of school and numerous AP courses are still fresh on my mind, on top of, and especially, the physics and mathematics from UT. I have tutored such topics as UIL Number Sense, essay-writing, and calculus but, having kept most of their materials, am willing to touch up on any high school or college course that I have taken (SEE Photos) to tutor for it. Further, I am willing to help at the middle school and elementary level, having some experience with the teaching program at UT myself as well as with my mom as an elementary schoolteacher. I have a his

Hello. My name is Dr. Tyler M. Smith. I am honored to be recognized as a "Top 10" Tutor by an international tutoring company. My company, Texas Family Tutors, is unique because we respect and adapt our services to each student's unique learning style, and learning environment (e.g., family, school, education, culture, language proficiency). Our tutors are trained, compassionate, high-performing in their own academics, and (when needed and available), offer bi-lingual assistance. Given the above, we offer a 7-point plan: 1. Meet the student and, when desired, meet the parents or guardians. Then listen and learn about the student and fami...

Alan J. says, "She did algebra with my son and biochemistry with my daughter. I supervised their work together. Bailee was patient, used a lot of examples and illustrations, and connected what they were studying to the "real world". I highly recommend her in all subjects. She is very intelligent and knows how to work with all ages" Read more

What sets us apart from the other tutoring companies out there is that we truly care about our clients and their results. We aim for the students to grasp the concepts at hand, and not just “get the right answers.” We aim to prepare the students for any obstacles in their courses that they may come across, and to have that preparedness means that the student cannot simply memorize the answers, but must understand the foundations first. We solidify this trust with our customers by offering a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. This means that, for whatever reason, if a customer feels displeased with their current tutor, then we will do everything in

I am recent high school graduate and attend St. Edward's University, making me well knowledgeable of the situations students currently face. I love to help people learn topics well, and not just for passing a test. I am still a child at heart, am fairly well grounded in my life and future plans, and love to help people find help in their various struggles. I am currently a freshman studying for my Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology to be applied towards becoming a therapist. I'm not only a college student, but a medical student! I've had to consistently find ways to study for advanced subjects and retain information at high degrees and I've found that I can help pass on these same tools to others! In addition, I've take a lot of pscyhology classes that focus on memory and how to study properly - yes, I've studied how to study! I think all of the above are very powerful tools that can help me assist my students properly and learn any subject with ease!...

Bailee was up-front about her experience with the sciences that I needed help with: evolution, genetics, and biology. She explained that studying anthropology at UT gave her a lot of classes about these subjects. I did not expect that when I thought of anthropology. She was very smart and helpful. She gave me facts when I need them and helped me with graphs and drawings. I liked her.

I like Ryan because he is relatable. He is a good teacher but switches things up because he is still a young adult. I think he’s able to teach me because he’s still in touch with modern games and music. I find it fun even to learn from because it’s nice to be able to relate to a teaching figure. --- Kieran

I could not say enough about Ganesh Susarla. Besides being a wonderful mathematician, he is a truly gifted tutor. Some people know their subjects, but not everyone can teach. Like other tutors we have met through Tutorfly, Ganesh is really a very good teacher. His kind, compassionate, patient, and thorough approach to his subject has given my son the confidence in his math class that he needs to know that he is in control. He now sees himself a a math guy, which is a wonderful turn of events. Another point I'd like to make about Ganesh is that he is so polite and friendly- very easy to talk to and comfortable in his own skin. Our whole family enjoys talking to Ganesh when he's at our house. What a great guy!

Dear Mr. Reymond , Thank you so much for helping D****. I have seen so much improvement and he passed the STAAR test easily. What helped the most was your tutoring him in thinking skills as well as strategies to think about the math without getting upset. I guess the word of the day would be confidence! It was great to meet you and you have my gratitude for infinity

I had the privilege of being tutored by an exceptional physics and math tutor, and I cannot praise his skills and teaching techniques enough. From the outset, it was evident that he possessed a profound understanding of the subjects, effortlessly navigating complex concepts with clarity and precision. His teaching approach was nothing short of transformative. Rather than resorting to rote memorization, he emphasized understanding the underlying principles. This not only deepened my comprehension but also equipped me with the tools to tackle a myriad of problems independently. His ability to break down intricate theories into digestible components made even the most challenging topics accessible. One aspect that truly set him apart was his patience. No question was deemed too basic, and he encouraged a supportive and inclusive learning environment. His willingness to revisit topics until they were fully grasped demonstrated a commitment to each student's success. This approach fostered a sense of confidence, allowing me to approach problem-solving with newfound assurance. Beyond the curriculum, he seamlessly integrated real-world applications into our sessions, illustrating how physics and math were not abstract concepts confined to textbooks but essential tools applicable to everyday scenarios. This holistic approach not only made the material more engaging but underscored the practical relevance of what we were learning.
