About

I'm not only a college student, but a medical student! I've had to consistently find ways to study for advanced subjects and retain information at high degrees and I've found that I can help pass on these same tools to others!

In addition, I've take a lot of pscyhology classes that focus on memory and how to study properly - yes, I've studied how to study! I think all of the above are very powerful tools that can help me assist my students properly and learn any subject with ease!

Frequently asked questions

Each student learns differently! Depending on the subject, I would like to try teaching the information with a variety of visual and auditory methods to see how the student learns the best and will best retain the information.

I'm a psychology major and I have an extensive background in memory and learning, as well as developmental psychology. I've spent a lot of time learning how to learn! I also have spent time in a memory lab for neuroscience work, so I have experience in both the physical and psychological aspects of learning in a variety of ages.

I don't have a standard pricing. I am generally new to the professional tutoring scene, so it would be dependent on the subject and how much time is going to be necessary.

I don't think I ever started so much as I just kind of always had. For family and friends as well as fellow students I've kind of always been the go to for helping learn information and study for tests.

I've worked mostly with college and high school students, but I've worked with as young as 4th grade before. I'm experienced in working with boys and girls, as well as learning to work around developmental disorders such as ADD/ADHD and dyslexia.

I would say few things matter more than fit and familiarity. A learning environment that's simply not conducive to studying won't lead fantastic results, and a lot of that relies on the teacher. Make sure your teacher is familiar with the subject as well as in general easy to talk to and ask questions!

I don't really think there's any prior thought that should need to go into asking a teacher something that could better your education. Properly understanding a subject, even from the very bottom up, is critical. Therefore students should feel free to ask absolutely anything they may not understand or they think would help their learning process.
