Virgil Tutoring

I've been teaching and tutoring for a long time now and have worked with all kinds of students, particularly those who are neurodivergent, in a broad range of subject areas. My particular specialization is helping students with dyscalculia, math anxiety, and ADHD to get through the critical threshold of basic algebra. I'm very good at reading the student, finding the place of constructive challenge, pushing them just past their comfort zone, and pulling back before they get overwhelmed. All the while, I coach them through meta-cognitive reflection. I've had incredible success with students other teachers have written off.
