As a current college student with 4+ years of tutoring experience, all K-12 material is still quite relevant and fresh in my mind. I have worked with a variety of ages, from kindergarten all the way to seniors in high school. I get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals. I will provide quick, concise responses for those in a hurry, and slow, methodic teaching for those looking to understand the material on a deeper level. I welcome parent feedback and will alter my methods based on parental goals as well.
I especially enjoy the process of seeing my students becoming more confident in their academics.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I get to know them briefly and try to understand their specific goals. With younger students, I make it a personal goal to make them comfortable with me so that I can present the material in a more specific, fun way that I know they can understand. Each student learns differently and I strive to modify my content for every student so that they all have a chance to succeed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated as the valedictorian of my high school, took and passed 18 AP tests covering a wide variety of topics, and received a 1560 on the SAT with one try. I am currently a UT student majoring in STEM fields and have received university honors for every semester. With that being said, I also have 4+ years of tutoring experience and have been trained to work with children of all ages.
