About
I have been tutoring for the past 6
years in both mathematic subjects and the SAT. My qualifications include: a 5 on the AP BC Calculus Exam, a 1520 on my SAT, and a 5 on my Physics C: Mechanics exam. My past students have received 4's 5's on their AP Calculus exams, giving them credit for college classes. I also immensely enjoy math and physics and love helping people understand the concepts, which I believe greatly aids in my students having a better grasp at the concepts. My hourly rate is $60/hr.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Initially, I like to see where the student stands on the subject at hand and identify the strengths and weaknesses. After that, I spend time slowly working on the weaknesses through a method that helps the student learn most effectively. From there we work on cultivating those skills and reviewing the areas that are the student's strengths.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from high school taking a variety of AP tests and passing them all and have tutored in the past (in AP Calculus and SAT). My students have seen drastic increases in their scores (getting 4s and 5s on their AP tests and increasing their PSAT/SAT scores by 100+ points).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My typical price is $60/hr, but it is flexible depending on the situation and subject.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with junior high and high school students.
