I am an experienced educator(36+ years) and tutor in Arlington,Tx.I have,also,privately tutored for ten years .My areas of expertise include Reading(all levels),Writing,Literature and Social Studies.My degree is a BA in English/Sociology from Texas A & M-Commerce. I have received numerous honors in teaching including Arlington Independent School District High School Teacher of the Month-January 2017,Who's Who in America for Educators,and Texas PTA life Teacher member.Teaching is my passion and always will be.My goal is to equip students with knowledge and confidence!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Find out their strengths and weaknesses-focus on one goal at a time.Make the student more comfortable in reading,etc and practice!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have attended multiple in-service trainings. My biggest training is being a veteran teacher who works well with all ages of students!

I usually charge a flat fee per hour-
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching right out of college.I have always wanted to be a teacher.

I have worked with honors students,average students and learning disabled students-all!

Choose someone who cares,is patient and knowledgeable!
