Nadeem Dabbakeh

I am a psychology graduate working on a PhD with a specialty in psycholinguistics. I offer a scientifically validated approach to learning reading, comprehension, and writing skills. While employed as a teacher at Texas Tech, I worked with undergraduate students of varying abilities to get their writing skills up to an acceptable college level. I have worked with everyone from students who merely lacked confidence in their writing, to nonnative speakers who needed extensive guidance in completing their college-level work.

My favorite part about tutoring is helping my students discover their love of reading and writing. I believe that good books make enthusiastic readers. I love being able to help a student reach a level where they can have fun and engage with the material, rather than struggling through it. The joy of reading and writing helped to make me who I am today, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share that joy with more students.
