I enjoy working with children especially in reading, literature analysis and art.
I successfully homeschooled my daughter in 10th grade through the 12th grade due to her health issues. She is now a graduate from ETSU.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Teaching is fundamentally a process which includes planning, implementation, evaluation and revision. I create an environment of mutual trust and respect by relying on students for feedback.
Planning involves helping students think criticlaly and understand the basics. For the first time many students are attending school through online classes and needs direction and technical assistance in staying on task without being overwhelmed. I am here to help.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from MTSU with a BS in jornalism with emphasis in visual communications and minoring in psychology. Many of my courses were online so I am a pro with the online learning formats.
How did you get started teaching?
I am reaching out to parents that want to keep their children out of the classroom environment due to Covid-19.
I have successfully raised two children of my own, one of which was homeschooled during her highschool years.
