Jon Reynolds Instuction

For over ten years, I have been teaching ELA and ESL with an emphasis on applied grammar and test prep. I got my start at the University of Oklahoma where I taught level four (college) grammar for two years while earning a Master's of Public Administration.

Following that, I worked as an ELA Reading, Writing, and Grammar instructor at an institute for and additional three years (K-12). During that time, I began my work as a private tutor, specializing in ACT/PSAT/SAT grammar, comprehension, and science, helping students earn top ACT scores and National Merit Scholarships.

I have chosen work as a private tutor because I really like providing a personalized learning experience. Everyone learns a little differently. Although I call on a variety of formalized methods while teaching, I mostly rely on my diverse experiences as a teacher and as a student. Both have given me the ability to simplify complicated concepts and focus on teaching practical skill sets that apply directly to achieving your goals.
