Effective Spanish Tutoring
About
I have been teaching middle school and high school Spanish for four years, but before that I lived in El Salvador for ten years. We only speak Spanish in my home, and I can not only teach the hows and whys of Spanish, but I understand culture and have heard of history from the sources in my travels. I minored in Spanish from Union University in 2003, and have had many adventures since. I was a Peace Corps volunteer from 2007-2009, and then helped my husband run his business until 2015 when we moved to Tennessee. I then found my passion for teaching Spanish as I saw fruits so quickly in students’ learning. To see development and change is addicting!! I love to see a student get excited about Spanish, and to see him/her embrace the music and culture as well.
I am offering a small group class to meet every Saturday morning, focused 100% on conversation and getting the students speaking. This price is $20 a student.
I also offer individual tutoring for $30/hour.
For details and more information, please contact me. Whether your goal is to speak Spanish, or to understand it, I can help you!! :D
I love seeing students' progression! It is a beautiful thing to watch the learning taking place.
