About
Teaching has always come natural for me, especially when it comes to math. I've spent countless nights tutoring my classmates all throughout high school and college in all math courses, even after I completed my math requirements. Being able to help others succeed and see how fun math can be is so important to me, and I'm excited to help many more students understand all the fun concepts algebra brings!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, we'll sit down and get familiar with each other. I want to know who I'm tutoring and how best to go about teaching hard material. Everyone learns differently, and I do my best to cater to everyone's specific needs. Next, we'll take a look at what we're learning, I'll ask a few questions to gauge how much of a handle the student has on the material, and then we'll go from there! I never want to assume the student already knows things if he or she is actually doesn't, and the student can always feel comfortable asking as many questions even if it means we go back to the basics and relearn previous lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
Tutoring has come naturally to me since my high school math courses. Since then, I have seeked out any opportunity to teach my fellow classmates, peers, their friends, and younger students I babysit.
