I teach 3rd grade at a school in the Mid-South and absolutely love it! Kids are my passion and I'll do anything it takes to make sure they succeed! I worked at an after-school program for the Boys and Girls Club for 4 years. I was a live in nanny for a family for a year while I was in college. I graduated in 2015 with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I am currently getting my Master's in Reading and will be graduating in the summer. My students are truly my passion and our hard work has shown over the years. Typically, my students grow 1-2 grade levels per year.
Ms. McNabb was very detailed in showing the parents what and how the students are being taught. She has a true love for the students and pushes them to work through the problem and how to break the word problem down. So the students get the best results!
I think this is a great idea
Ms. Mcnabb is very hands on! She breaks down each problem so that her students can understand on their learning level!
Ms. McNabb truly loves what she does and she loves kids. She’s very compassionate about her job. She makes sure that the children understands as well as the parents understand. She gives the parents learning tool as well so they are able to help their children in her absence. She is the best teacher/tutor that my daughter has ever had. With Ms. McNabbs help, my daughter has an A average in her subjects! I am truly grateful for her! She’s so caring, understanding, nice and she really gets the job done. She uses different tactics to help each child. She goes and goes and goes until she really knows the student has it. She is truly a gift from God.
I get to know my students and see where they are academically and emotionally. I like to find their interests and personalities so that I can best teach them.
I have a Bachelor's degree and am almost finished with Graduate school. I have countless hours of Professional Development under my belt. I have been on school teams where we created assessments aligned to the TNReady.
Typically, I charge $25 per hour.
I started working at the Boy's and Girl's club during college. Before that I was always babysitting around my hometown. During college, I also worked as a nanny for 3 years as well.
All of my students that I have worked with have been usually below their grade-level academically. These students typically come from poverty areas or Title 1 schools.
