About

I am a licensed full time high school Spanish teacher. I have been tutoring students as a part time job. I have helped students that were failing Spanish and getting them to achieve passing grades. I have taught kindergarten to high school students. I started Spanish 3 at my current school district. I love the challenge of teaching student to successfully speak Spanish. I have been teaching for a total of 21 years.

I enjoy watching students learn and excel in speaking Spanish. I love the Spanish culture and passing it on to my students.

I thought she did an outstanding job teaching us! Voces I feel like even though it was a pain it helped as well as work sheets and then studying the worksheets for quizzes. This helped me memorize my vocabulary. I also though when we would talk to each other In class in Spanish that was helpful!!

She always helped me when I needed help. She always helped me to understand more about Spanish. I really liked that if we didn’t understand something, she would spend extra time on it.

    Frequently asked questions

I will assess where their current skill level is. Then we will put together a success plan for them. We will continue to evaluate the plan on a weekly basis to make sure we are hitting all the milestones to achieve their success.

I have 20 years of teaching experience. I am a licensed Spanish teacher. I have many lesson plans and materials to meet each student's needs. I have taught all ages and levels of Spanish.

My pricing schedule is hourly and is negotiated during the interview. I believe this is better then a timed contract as a student may learn faster or slower then a timed contract would allow. I also like hourly because it lets both parties decide if it is a good fit.

I spent many summers in Guatemala with my host family learning Spanish. After High School I went to Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. I taught for 17 years at the elementary school in Lake Park, MN. During this time I got my Masters Degree at Southwest University. In 2014 I started teaching high school Spanish at Anderson County High School in Clinton, TN.

I have worked with all types of students with all types of backgrounds from kindergarten to high school. I've worked with students with special needs. I have worked with very intelligent students and help them excel to the highest level of Spanish.

First and for most make sure they are experts in the field you are wanting to learn. Second make sure there is a good connection with your teacher you are going to hire. Don't be afraid to ask questions during the interview.

Have they done everything they can to be successful in that class?
Are they willing to dedicate the time it will take to learn the skills of the class?
They have to be open with the teacher. Do not be afraid to ask questions.
