What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will have to assess their current skill levels and understanding, as well as how they learn best. Then I'll ask them what they want, whether they just want to ace tests or really try to understand the concepts. Then I will provide them what they want.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a teaching assistant in my university as a nuclear engineering major as well as a mentor for my colleagues. I also taught english back in Korea to children ages 6 to 15.
