My experience as an educator has provided me with the necessary knowledge and skillset to support student success. I have taught over five years in an inclusion classroom and have experience working within a contained classroom setting. I possess excellent relationship-building skills, enabling students to trust in the guidance and support I provide. I know that through these relationships, I have strengthened students’ self-motivation and self-regulation skills while encouraging students to exceed expectations. I am also highly effective at meeting the needs of a diverse population of students. Utilizing this skill, I excel at differentiating my lessons and activities to ensure the needs of each student are being met. Through differentiation, I have also refined my evaluation skills and am able to successfully monitor student progress to assess learning. In addition to these skills, I also demonstrate excellent time management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and technological skills that have advanced me to this point.
