Max At SoFlo SAT Tutors

I'm Max, and I love working with students! On a personal level, I am also an enthusiastic and outdoorsy type of person. The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point!

I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in the SAT and ACT through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I scored in the top percentile on both exams, graduated from Willamette University with a degree in Political Science, and have been tutoring with SoFlo for 3 years. Our method at SoFlo is assessment, strategy, and practice. Your student will take a free diagnostic test first so that we can identify their needs. Next, we will create a plan to address those needs. Finally, we will practice using real exams and test questions to prepare them to take the official test.
