About
I am a certified PreK-6 Teacher. I also am a high school boys' and girls' soccer coach.
The main goal is to help students become lifelong independent learners.
Teachers play a vital role in society. They are responsible for preparing students to make their way into the adult world. There is great satisfaction in knowing that I have a positive role in the next generation.
There is a unique satisfaction in seeing the look on students' faces as they absorb new information and ideas. Learning doesn't always come easily to students and, as a teacher, you need a great deal of patience. However, there will be times when you see that your own efforts have paid off and you've really gotten through to someone.
In addition to the satisfaction of helping others learn, I also continue to learn. Once becoming a teacher, I still continue to learn. I stay with the current, latest knowledge in my field of study.
