I am a student and therefore know that the struggle is real. I'm here to get some money for college and help others learn. I try to get to know the student and help them figure out the learning method that works for them.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will usually schedule an extra few minutes in our first session for us to chat and lighten the mood. For some people learning is hard and I want this to be a safe space where it is ok to make mistakes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have tutored in community service for two years.
