Education Advocacy Center
About
I started the Education Advocacy Center in 2004. It began as a small tutoring center in my neighborhood. We expanded it in a couple of years to become a part of East Lansing Elementary school system. The center began in Michigan and I moved to Tennessee 10 years ago. Since moving to Tennessee, we have continued to be a small private tutoring entity. We specialize in one on one tutoring with custom-made sessions to meet the individual needs of each student . Our mission is for every student to reach their academic potential. I am the Director of the EAC and have extensive background in education. I taught in the classroom for over 10 years and after that became a consultant with the Michigan Education Association. I have over 20 years of training and consulting expertise. I have tutored many students K12 to adults. I am committed to helping each student to reach their highest potential. I also have a Masters Degree in the Teaching of Reading as well as a Bachelors Degree from Western Michigan University in Secondary Education
