Spring Day Tutoring
About
Gaining 2+ years of private in-home and online tutoring, I have successfully managed a large client base since the start of my career. While I'm able to maintain a solid lesson routine, I like to take a relaxed and fun approach when teaching English, which means I'm not afraid to be silly or joke around! Additionally, I'm patient with my students and can adjust my teaching style in order to help them achieve a greater learning experience in the environment that best suits their needs.
I enjoy watching students' knowledge increase along with their confidence and helping them overcome roadblocks in their education.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Meeting for the first time with a new student is my favorite part. It's important to me that a student is able to feel comfortable and confident in the classroom. Whether they are shy or outgoing, I give each of my students the opportunity to share a bit of themselves and their passions. I believe this assists in creating that comfortable atmosphere when its time to begin a lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduating as a homeschooled student, I was given the opportunity to pursue a higher study of English education. Successfully completing Honors English, AP Language Arts, and AP Literature courses, as well as obtaining Arts & Writing Scholastic awards, my knowledge of English composition goes far beyond the standard. In addition, my desire to study Korean makes me no stranger to the anxiety of learning a second language or being introduced to new forms of grammar!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My rates are $25.00 per hour, per student. I provide different options for younger students such as 30-minute sessions at a lower rate of $15.00 per session.
